These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the online component of the PAT training course provided by Connected Conservation Foundation and partners. By participating in the Course, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- The Course is open to anyone who would like to participate. An interest in conservation ICT is required and ideally, they must have completed their high school certificate, but it is not a prerequisite.
- The Course is available and free of charge; however, we reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the course at any time.
- Access to the Course will be provided once you register and create an account.
- You may only use the Course for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise agreed upon.
- If the Course requires you to create an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for any activity that occurs under your account.
- All content provided in the Course, including but not limited to text, images, videos and any other materials ("Course Content"), is owned by Connected.
- Conservation Foundation or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
- You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access and use the Course for personal, educational purposes. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the Course Content without prior written consent from Connected Conservation Foundation.
- By participating in the Course, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information.
- We may collect data such as your name, email address and course completion progress. This information will be used to improve the Course experience and communicate with you about the Course.
- We may communicate with you regarding the progress of the Course and request to use your response in marketing materials.
- As a condition of participation in the Course, CCF may publish, disclose and publicly display participants names in our marketing material. If you cannot have your name published for personal or legal reasons, please reach out to us.
- The course outcomes may be used by CCF in their communications and marketing. Participants might be asked to provide quotes or feedback, and CCF may request permission to use their images for marketing purposes.
- The participants are not allowed to use the trademarks of CCF without prior written consent.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Course at any time for any reason, including but not limited to, violations of these Terms and Conditions.
- Upon termination, all rights granted to you under this Agreement will immediately cease, and you must discontinue use of the Course and Course Content.
- We may update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Course website. It is up to you to check the terms and conditions regularly.
